FORMER DIRECTOR is an independent design company founded in Toronto and currently based in Montréal. Our brand was established as a passion project, inspired by autonomy and rebellion. We recognize we are all a work in progress, constantly evolving and outgrowing our former selves. As such, we continue to evolve with each creation, piece, and collection. 

FORMER DIRECTOR represents an ode to who you used to be, who you are now, and who you can be – an uncontainable presence inspired by existing.
